Tango came to the Tauranga SPCA as an 8 week old puppy after an emergency call from the Police reporting the puppy had been struck by its owner. Tango was a helpless small puppy and without the assistance from the police and the Tauranga SPCA his future would have been very bleak indeed.
Tango was transferred to a foster home to heal after vet treatment for his injuries. Once recovered and back at the SPCA, Tango was about 3 and a half months old when a new forever loving home was found where he is now treated with the respect and the kindness that he truly deserves and needs.
Tango's previous owner was fined $1500.00 and disqualified from owning another animal for 5 years. His new owner renamed Tango to Delvinious or Del for short.
