When Dill Pickle, or Pickle for short, was found and brought into SPCA, he was very sick with cat flu, causing his eyes to be severely infected. Even though Pickle was in a lot of pain, he was so smoochy and loveable.
Sadly, no amount of medication could save his eyes so he had to have surgery to remove them. This way, he could have a chance at a happy, healthy, pain-free life.
It was clear the right choice was made for Pickle - his playfulness truly started to come out as he was recovering.
Pickle completely won over an SPCA staff member. "There was something about him that immediately made me fall in love," Josh says.
Only a few days after Pickle became available for adoption, Josh wasted no time adopting him and bringing him home where he now happily lives with his big sister, Chutney the cat!
