SPCA simply could not function without the help of the fantastic volunteers who donate their time

Alan is an example of one of these wonderful people with volunteer their hands and hearts to help SPCA achieve so much in animal welfare across New Zealand.

SPCA volunteers are involved in various different roles from dog walking, caring for kittens, helping with administration support, to participating in our events. 

To volunteer for SPCA, you must be reliable, committed, be passionate about animal welfare and be aged 18 years or over (If you are under the age of 18, there are plenty of ways you can help and support your local SPCA, check out our Get Involved section)
