Carrier Covers for small animals

If you (or someone in your family) knows how to sew, then our animals would love for you to make them some carrier covers. 

Carrier covers are very important at SPCA. They keep our cats calm and prevent the spread of disease when a sick animal is being transported. 

We have a range of carriers that vary in size, they are generally: 

  • 40 - 50cm high 
  • 40 - 50cm wide
  • 70 - 80cms in long

So it is safer to make them a bit larger, as our carrier sizes vary. 

Covers need to hang approx. 20cms lower than the base and they need a hole in the top for the handle.
