Rag Heroes for our SPCA Centres

Rags are used for cleaning animal cages. It’s important that we don’t transfer germs  from one cage to another, so a new rag is used for each cage - so we never have enough rags! 

Our wonderful Rag Heroes make these much needed rags for us, so SPCA animals can have sparkly, clean cages.

To become a Rag Hero, you can collect clean flannelette sheets and pillow cases (winter sheets and pillow cases) and then cut these into 40cm x 40cm squares (rags!)

Or you can contact the Volunteer Coordinators at your local SPCA Centre who can supply you with sheets which you can cut up at your own time and at your own place.

We always need more Rag Heroes so please spread the word!!
