We have freedom, so why can't they?

We have freedom, so why can't they?
Give them the freedom to run and play,
love them each and every day.
Freedom to be loved.
Keep them in the warm and dry,
let them run and let them fly,
never let them need to cry.
Freedom to be glad.
Keep their bellies full with food,
keep them in a happy mood,
not to do so would be rude.
Freedom to be fed.
A trip to the vet is great,
they will get them into shape,
keep them from a nasty fate.
Freedom to be healthy.
Cover them from wind and rain,
never let them be in pain,
treat with kindness, not disdain.
Freedom to live.
