Attention all talented young Kiwi artists! Are you ready to set off on an island adventure while learning about sun and heat safety for companion animals? Grab your colouring pencils and prepare to enter the magical world of Elastic Island Adventures - Rarotonga, featuring the brave cat, Blong!

Don’t miss out on this incredible opportunity to win some truly pawesome prizes and to learn about sun and heat safety for our animal friends. The judges are specifically looking for; careful colouring inside the lines, a variety of colours, and that you had fun! Don’t be afraid to use your imagination.

Terms and Conditions:

  • SPCA Kids’ Colouring Competition 2023 commences on Tuesday 1st August and closes on Monday 23rd October at 11:59 pm. Winners will be contacted via email by Friday 27th October.
  • By entering SPCA competitions, you’re agreeing for SPCA New Zealand to share your work on all SPCA web pages and within social media postings.
  • For this colouring competition, you can use coloured pencils, crayons and pens. Digital art or paint entries will not be accepted.
  • The colouring competition is open to children aged 5-16 years. There is a prize for the winner and runner-up of each age category, and spot prizes are available for additional ‘pawesome’ entries. However, two spot prizes are available to be won by entrants under 5 years.
  • Age categories are: 5-10 years and 11-16 years.
  • This competition is only open to “Eligible Entrants”, individuals who: are residents of New Zealand and are not a child of an SPCA employee.
  • One entry per child.
